I had my three grand daughters yesterday, ages 1, 2 and 5.  Plus 5 dogs and a cranky teen ager.  I was so happy when it was time for them to go.  So were the dogs, believe me.

I love the way my house smells when I have something in the crockpot.  What kind of roast do you use.  The last couple that I have cooked have really cooked away to nothing.  They tasted wonderful though but we could have used more (SIL always seems to drop in...LOL)/.

Sounds Good!!

Hi, I am new to the LW Board and I love it.  Your posts for daily intake are so informative and I have a lot to work on.  I have such a problem getting enough protein and water in, I am 6 1/2 weeks post-op.  I feel so full so quickly and for such a long time after I eat or drink anything-including water...I never feel hungry!  If I make a protein shake, it takes 2 separate meals to consume the 8 oz....any advice, tips or tricks?   Thanks :)

Breakfast  7oz (half a bottle) SF Carnation instant breakfast  (about 7 grams of protein)
Snack. About 14 almonds
Lunch  2 oz meatloaf
Dinner:  not sure
Snack:  usually don't have room, will try for some Greek yogurt if I can fit it in....

Water: 14 ounces.....I know this is horrible!

Took all my vitamins so far.

Walk: 1 mile...still sore from my gym workout on Saturday!  Going to the gym in the morning again!

I was told to stay away from those instant breakfasts as a protein source.  Try Jay Robb 100% whey protein isolate and mix a scoop of it with 4 oz of almond or skim milk.  You will get almost 30g protein (if you use skim milk) and in only 4 oz of liquid if 8oz is difficult.

Try tea or adding sf flavoring to your water to up your other liquids.  You don't want to end up in the hospital.

Welcome to our LW board!!   Keep in mind that anything I post is just advice and never criticism.

Do you keep track of what you eat on a menu web site? I'm not seeing near enough Protein in your Menu.   Getting enough Protein and Water in should be your goal every single day. Your bones, hair, and muscles (yes your heart is also a muscle) needs those to continue to be healthy.  It's really hard to get enough Protein in through food so try putting Protein Powder in your foods too.  You can buy unflavored or flavored.  Unjury makes a really good Chicken Broth that might help.  The drinks and broth can also be counted towards your water totals for the day.

Do you separate the Protein Drink before you drink from it?  Our saliva breaks down the protein so you might want to try that if you are going to use it for 2 meals.

I'm surprised you can have almonds this early out.  They still make my pouch hurt.
