WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!
I hope you all had a rewarding weekend....they go so fast! the Comp. went good. Our most advanced team took first and got a bid to Worlds and our 2nd team took 3rd. It was a rough weekend taking care of the 2 little ones by myself but DH is back from his hunting trip so he will be able to help me out for the rest of the comps. Fortunately we only took 2 teams. I drank lots of Protein and tried really hard not eat a bunch of unnecessary carbs. I realized that I don't spend much money on meals when DH isn't there....LOL
Is your Halloween candy gone? It's hard to believe that the Holidays are just around the corner. Start working now on cutting back those "bad" carbs so you don't crave them when the "stress" of the holidays kick in. It's easier to make BAD choices during the holidays if you haven't been making GOOD choices on an everyday basis. Make it easier on yourself by starting now!!!

Congratulations to the cheer teams. I bet you are glad DH is at home. I like for mine to go on trips, but after a couple of days I'm ready for him to be back home again!!
Our halloween candy is gone at home, but there is still plenty at work. It is so hard to stay away from it for me now, but I usually do pretty good!!
Great advice on the bad choices. I didn't cook much this weekend which usually leads me to problems during the week so maybe I'll atleast go to exercise....

Great Advice...LOL I'm trying to practice what I preach!
You put crystal lite in your yogurt? Do you add sweetner too? It is just so sour for me but by the time I add NSA pie filling, coolwhip, sweetner, I feel like I have a meal planned.
Good Menu!

It is a beautiful day here but I'm trying to get stuff done so no playing for me. My umbilical hernia (if that is what it is) and the lumps on my head (probably sabacious cyst) removal is tomorrow. Knee is 23rd. I'm hoping tomorrow is a easy surgery and I will be a little sore but no big thing. It is outpatient and I'll be hope by dinner time.

I know all about that babysitting stuff. I have 3 grand daughters ages 2, 4, & 6 and they certainly keep you jumping. It's always nice to get home and back to your own routine. Happy for you that the cheer teams did so well.
