7 weeks post op today - from size 20 jeans to size 14

My cheeks hurt (in my face that is) from smiling so much.  This past weekend my sister came over and said my jeans were too baggy so I decided to look through some old boxes (remember we just moved 7 weeks ago) and I found my favorite size 14 petite DKNY.  I love these jeans.  So excited to be able to wear them again.  Just in case you're wondering I have a pair of size 12's in a box somewhere too.  Sure glad I didn't send all these off to the Goodwill.  Nothing like shopping in your own garage LOL.  Thanks for letting me share!

You are doing so great!  It is a GREAT feeling getting into smaller sizes....I am SHOCKED that I am fitting in regular large shirts and sometimes a medium.  NEVER in my adult life.  I had size 20 to size 14 in my closet so it was fun "shopping" there for awhile.   Goodwill is now my mall.  LOL.

I did the Optifast program twice over the last 4 years.  I gave my clothes away to my sister the first time and then the second time I had to buy all new clothes when I lost weight - darn.  I kept most of my favorites.  I have 4 boxes in the garage marked 140 lbs.some size 12 jeans and mostly large tops.  So I will be shopping in my own garage for a while but now I'm excited to think about single digit sizes - my new obsession HA!

Thanks.  It's hard to fight the urge to go to the mall and buy something - but I know that will be a waste of money.  So for now I will continue to shop in my garage!

Although I'm very green with jealousy.
I've been doing good,  - had my RNY in August, and today I'm wearing size 18, which are fitting OK......but still not a 14.  I hope to be in 14s when I'm at goal.

First let me tell you a secret.  I have NO BUTT!  I carry most of my weight in my belly - jelly roll.  So that is why I can fit in a size 14 at 177lbs.  Another secret - when I was in junior high my mom bought me a girdle that had padding in the butt so I would look like I had one UGH!  Does this make you feel better LOL?

YAY, that is awesome.   Congrats.  I just had to buy new jeans too because my 20s were falling off me.  I wish I could go into boxes for shopping.  That is so great.
