WOW...100 carbs is a lot even on maintenance!!   Did they mention what kind of carbs?   The only time I have even close to that is if I eat beans, fruit,  or nuts.

900 Calories are probably OK but I stayed below 700 until I reached my first personal goal of 75 lbs. lost.  The 60-80 grams range is ok if it's all from Protein Drinks but if it's from food I would make sure it's over 100.

Good Menu but I'd add at least another Protein drink.

Hi Roz

Last night for snack I made the protein cake.  This time I used 3T of no sugar added applesauce and 3 packets of Splenda.  Still needs a little more sugar, but is more moist.  I'll add another pkt of splenda next time.  I want to try using pudding too, but am really trying to get/keep the calories down to basically just the protein and the applesauce.  The cocoa is only 5 calories!

B - 1 protein coffee and more coffee
L - a fairly large sized breakfast bake - egg/cheese/sausage/mushroom.  usually I eat a half and am fine, today I could eat the whole thing.  That tells me my fullness indicator isn't working well...
D - we'll see, maybe leftover beaver stew

Vits:  yes - ordered a whole bunch more from Vitalady today!
Water:  doing great with it the last few days

I made the cake again last night too and realized that I NEED the extra sweetner.  It was way to bitter for me.  I put oil in it last night thinking maybe it was the applesauce that was making it yuk but tonight I'm going to try the applesauce again.

I miss eating breakfast.  DH and I have off Friday and I thought "maybe we'll go for breakfast" but then I remembered that I'd probably be sick all day.  I can't handle eggs very well and susage and bacon makes me sick.  The only thing that my tummy likes is the pancakes or french toast so I usally just get soup and dream of the others.  I guess we will stay in and I'll cook him breakfast.

On the run yesterday and am catching up with myself today.  Had a couple of appts this morning and need to grab and go thus the amount of liquid protein today.  Still on plan though.

Glad to see you are making sure you are getting your Protein in!!!   Liquid protein is so easy that their is no excuse for anyone not meeting their Protein requirements.

Surgery this morning went fine.  I did have not 1 but 2 umbilical hernias that were repaired and my cyst removed from my head.  I was on my way home at 12;30.  Started feeling some discomfort this afternoon but the meds are working well and don't make me too loopy.  It did mess up my eating since I couldn't eat anything before surgery.  Since then, I have made all of my drinks protein to try to catch up and will end the day ok.

Made the arrangements today for the old horse.  The 21st the vet will come, the hole will be dug and my sister will be here to say goodbye to him.  It is very sad but I can't continue to watch him in pain and chance him getting down in cold weather and not be able to get up.

So glad your surgery went good.  I'm just catching up on posts so you are probably feeling pretty good by now.

Sorry about the horse.  You have to love your horse and  be a very strong woman to make those kind of arrangements.  I'm not sure I could do it.

S Atkins smoores protein bar.  They were on sale at Grocery Outlet and I had to try them even though I have a drawer full of Think Thin bars.  They were yummy.

S either a sugar free fudgecicle or sugar free pudding cup with added live cultures.  Grocery Outlet also had these on sale and I love them
