Surgery 1 will be out of the way today
So I got up at 5:30 so I could have a cup of tea before my 6am cut off for all liquids. I have to be there at 9 for surgery at 10:00. Should be home in the afternoon. DH is taking me.
The soap I had to bathe with last night and this morning is horribly drying and I feel like I am shriveling up. I hate it.
I realized last night that I was a little anxious and wasn't at all before RNY which is a much bigger deal. I think it is because I had so much less prep for this one. I don't know what this lump really is near my bellybutton. I think removal will be simple but who knows for sure. I don't know if it will be a big incision, several small one, open, lap, you get the picture. I don't know if they will use stitches or stable to close my head. I just knew all the ins and outs of the RNY and I don't with this.
Anyway, thanks for all your swinging. I'll let you know what happens this evening.
