You're right. I don't have any floppy skin on my calves.  I think I actually have a good shape there, but it's not boot-friendly.

At the top of this page where they have their targeted ads there is an ad for wide calf boots in response to your subject.  It sounds like they may work for you.

Thanks for showing me this. I have a pretty good ability to filter out of site those ads.  I don't do too much catelog shopping because I really like to check things out first--especially clothing and shoes.  If I keep striking out, I'll have to consider it though.

You just explained why I never liked boots! I had this problem when I wore a size 7. I'm 5'0 and I am a pear shape. I have always said my legs go from thigh straight to knee, straight to calf with no lean parts in the middle! LOL No one else could understand me. I think that's because the shortest person in my family after me is 5'6!
