wondering if the doc gave me a bigger pouch
I see that you have added some more detail and i think you are correct, you are probably not eating too much. When you said beanburger, I was thinking about our garden burgers which are 4 oz or 1/2c by themselves.
Sorry I was assuming more than I should have.

I just reread that bit of your post about the 8 week mark. I may be reading it wrong. Is that 1/2 cup of food 5-6 x a day? If It is, then I don't have a problem becuse I'm not eating nearly that much! I'm eating 4-7 tablespoons 3x a day. (plus two shakes as snacks) Usually I use one of the shakes to substitute for breakfast. so the 4-7 tablespoons are often twice a day.
I wondered about my pouch, too. I was told that my surgeon makes the pouches the same size, 30 cc or ml? I can't remember, but I was drinking normally from the first day out, too. I did have some instances of foamies for the first few months, and I threw up a few times so I know something was done but other then that I felt pretty normal.
I always had a feeling I could have eaten more then I did but I always measured out things. Fortunately I always felt satisfied. I haven't really felt hunger much since I had my surgery so I have to eat by schedule and measure things out.
I only recently began to push things a bit to see if I could increase my capacity and I have found that if I eat much more then I have been I get a sick and bloated feeling. I never had that before because I never ate much before I guess.
I am finding that I can eat about a cup of food at a time, which is what they said I would be able to. I can eat about 6 oz of meat now. I have always been able to drink a lot. Sometimes I can drink a 16 oz bottle of water in a few minutes or so.
