Totally OT!

 I changed my avatar.  Thank you Price for the link to the website which changes pictures to avatar size.  Thanks to Gina and all the posters who keep showing their cute dogs.  Figured I would show mine until I get some good new pictures of me!

The avatar is Phantom, my 14 year old toy poodle.  He has seen me through some amazingly hard times and has been there to give me joy every day (except this week when he kept throwing up on our bedspread )  

Gotta love our furry friends.  Have a great day guys.

I looked at that cute face and laughted while I was seeing who it was.  Welcome to the LWs Phantom.  I bet he is truely a LW, being a toy.

I love our old dogs.  My 3 are 15 and 12yrs old.  There is an amazing difference between the 15yr old and the 12 yr olds in terms of energy and *****  What joy they bring to our lives and how we will miss them when they are gone.

 That's so true Price. We lost my husband's mixed chihuahua last year and I still miss him.  Sometimes Phantom channels him though, and behaves just like him. LOL

Mrs. M, I have a 13 year old  silver poodle, his name is Cody.  I bet he would get along well with Phantom :)  The apricot poodle is Bailey, he is my parent's poodle.  Here is a link of their pic

 they are adorable!  Cody could be Phantom's brother!  Phantom is kind of silver now but when he was young he was black and apricot.  I was told that two toned poodles are called phantoms.  That's how I got his name.  I was never a dog person, but Phantom turned me around.

I have 5 dogs.  I'm starting to be known as the crazy dog lady.  Right now I have 4 of them on my lap.  They are all big babies.  Four Chihuahuas and a part Chihuahua and part Italian Greyhound.  I don't know what I would do without them.  They all sleep with me and are my constant companions.  Emma, the newest Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound mix won't eat unless you hand feed her and now the others have gotten into the act so I sit there feeding my dogs like animals in a petting zoo.  Just what I needed, to have them even more spoiled.
