I will usually bring something that I know I can have too. I love roasted brussel sprouts, easy to make and travel with.
I buy the pound bag of sprouts, rinse and trim the ends, cut in half the ones that are large. Mix with a couple of tablespoons of good olive oil and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 350 until roasted, about 30 to 40 minutes depending on the size of the sprouts. I love to get them all brown and toasty!
Mashed cauliflower is another favorite of mine. I buy a bag of frozen cauliflower simmer it in chicken stoc****il very soft, pour off extra liquid. Mash with a little butter, salt and pepper. If you search it up, there alot of variations with sour cream and such. I like to keep it simple. Or mix with a little greek yogurt.
For dessert, I like to bring fruit salad. I did bake an apple pie for our last gathering, but didnt have any.

Everyone loves my yams too but I don't have the recipe at work. If you haven't found anything else and you are interested let me know.

Just one layer of each. I get requests for it all of the time. I usually make chocolate but you could use any flavor.
