Chewable iron. What is the best? Bariatric Advantage?
My NUT and surgeon says chewable vitamins/minerals/supplements for a month.
For Iron, they recommend Bariatric Advantage for chewable, and then Ferrets once you can swallow. I need a total of 50-100mg of elemental iron per day, according to my sheet.
The highest does I can find is the 60mg lemon-lime Bariatric Advantage. I am assuming it's worth the cost to go ahead and get this and take one and a half per day instead of buying the lower doses and having to chew 3+ pills?
Is there a better (higher dose in one chewable pill) option out there?
Thank you all! Can't wait to be on the loser's bench.

IF I had to do chewables, I'd try the ones from Vitalady first...it helps that she also sells a sample size pack so you can see if you can handle them. Then switch to her tender iron once you are cleared for regular pils. I added the proferrin es to my daily dose of tender iron...all you do for the proferrin is snap the pills in half to make them easier to absorb.
