Babies are a blessing!  Congratulations Roz.

I'm late again posting.  We've been having water heater issues (in our NEW house).  We have been without ho****er since last Friday.  I made enough noise today that they have finally agreed to replace the new water heater.  So tomorrow I will have ho****er.  My husband put in a closet organizer this past weekend and I finished sealing the grout in the bathrooms.  OMG!  I had no idea how time consuming that was going to be.

I have found something new that I love and it sits well with my tummy.  Jennie O turkey bacon - Yummy!

Protein:      Body Fortress Chocolate 26 gr
Breakfast:  1/3 of a deviled egg and 1 slice turkey bacon
Protein:      Body Fortress Chocolate 26 gr
Lunch:       1/4 cottage cheese 2/peaches
Protein:     Body Fortress Chocolate 26 gr
Snack:      2 whole wheat crackers & alloutte cream cheese spread
Dinner:     1/4 c Chicken Tortilla soup

I feel so out of the loop, so much to catch up on! Congrats Roz on the Grandbabies!!! Exciting!!

We lost power from that snow storm Saturday night until yesterday at 4am, we got about a foot of snow! No heat, no electricity, and we have septic so couldn't flush toilets...awful! Some people in our area are STILL are without power, like my daycare lady, but she has a generator and heat and is open thankfully... she just has to have all the kids picked up before it get's dark because it is dark out front for safety. Sunday morning we ventured out to find breakfast and coffee, Friendly's was a TWO hour wait to sit down, so we went to Wendy's across the street and waited an hour in line for food! It was kind of cool to chat with all the people in line and find out their stories etc...we were all wearing pj's! So, I got coffee, a chili AND a chicken sandwich to save for later. We couldn't trick or treat with all the down power lines, trees and snow sidewalks. So, we are going Friday night, it was postponed by some of our towns out here. So, we had a little party at one of the Mom's of my daughter's friends. So, she got some candy from that, we all brought a bag of candy and split it up for all the kids. I've dug into that last night (3 pieces) and didn't dump fortunately or unfortunately.

Last Fri I spoke to my NUT on the phone she said I am doing well with calories for what am doing with exercise, but may want to cut down on the days I am not exercising, and cut down on protein and carbs (don't know how I am going to do that, I am already ALWAYS hungry). She wants me to check in with her in January. I see my surgeon for labs in a couple weeks.

Oh, and great news... My sister won 4 passes on a Disney Cruise to Bahamas, and 3 days at the Disney Parks in FL, she invited my other sister, me and my 4 yr old daughter!!! We are going in March during my daughter's 5th birthday!!! She is all into princesses right now! We aren't telling my daughter yet.

ok food, sorry so long above! LOL:

By March, you will certainly be ready for a vacation in the warm.  Glad you will get to go.

Well, I planned out my food today so I could get 2000 calories but I don't think I will make it.  I am 3 snacks behind right now and it is 9:30.  I didn't realize how hard it is to get in that many calories without refined carbs.  The way I planned it was 3 meals a day and 4 snacks.  That is basically eating all day and I just can't do it.  I have been working at the thrift store and I can't just stop what I am doing to eat something.
B protein oatmeal with milk and butter and a banana
S Think Thin bar
L ricotta bake, Nut Thins, Laughing Cow bleu cheese wedge
D baked chicken with zuccini, butternut squash and red potatos with butter
S shake cake with an egg (saw this on the main board and thought I would try it)
S protein pudding
S almond butter
I am going to try to have at least 2 of those, probably the protein pudding and almond butter.  I'll have to try to shake cake tomorrow.

Update:  It is now quarter to midnight and I was determined to get in most of my food.  I made the cake shake with egg and it was delicious but I only ate half.  I decided about an hour later to go for the protein pudding, thinking I might be able to still fit in the almond butter before bed.  Instead I feel terrible, sick and bloated.  I figured since the pudding was pretty soft it wouldn't make me too full.  I was wrong.  Now I am rethinking this whole 2000 calorie thing.  Today was the first day and it hasn't gone well.  I was doing pretty good with 1800 calories and I figured how hard could 200 more calories be?
Now I want to go back to what I was doing before and just let nature take it's course.  I am sick of making myself eat and having to think about food all the time and plan it and fit it in.  For the first time in my life I am not being ruled by my unreasonable hunger and it's biting me in the ass.
Sorry for the vent, I just don't feel good and I just don't want to do this any more.  I feel like 1800 calories should be enough for now.  At least I have stopped losing and I know that eventually I will be eating more and put on some weight.  I am just tired of trying to push my pouch's capacity and having it push back.

I keep waiting on good news from my son and his wife.  They have been trying to have a baby for about 2 years now.  I think she has PCOS (she is MO) because when we were there once she had a bottle of pills on the counter in the bathroom and I got noisy and looked and it was Metformin (I don't feel too bad, my daughter peeked, too).  I know she is taking Clomid, too.  I wish I could talk to her about WLS because I know it can help with PCOS but I would never bring it up and she hasn't asked me about it.
I have a wild grandbaby, too.  My little Kaci is just a spitfire.  She is the one that was Dora for Halloween.  She has me wrapped around her finger.

ETA, I forgot that I was going to write a disclaimer about how much I eat.  I am looking to regain some weight since I went down a little low and on my doctors orders I am working on getting in 2000 calories a day.
