I haven't been keeping track of my weight from week to week but I know I keep losing. This morning I hit a new all time low (or at least a new low since I was in the 8th grade 45 years ago).

When someone asks how much weight you have lost do you tell them from surgery weight (-113 lbs) or highest weight (-153 lbs)? I had lost 40 pounds over two years from my highest weight to my new birth date. (I like to call my surgery day my second birthday. It was the start of a new and wonderful life.)

For those of you who don't look at the singels board, I have recently met a wonderful woman. Something I thought would never happen. I blame my RNY and weight loss for me meeting this amazing woman. My weight loss has helped bring me out of my shell, and help me build a good self image, and has given me confidence that I have never had in 58 years. Thanks to my doctors, my personal friends who had WLS before me, and to all you here at OH for listening to me complain during my weight loss. Now, all I need to do is stop losing weight and never ever ever go back to where I was.

Thanks agian! You OH friends are the greatest!

Don, that's fantastic...on both fronts.

Finding someone to share your journey makes it even better...

As to how to stop, read the suggestions to others...add more protein and good carbs/calories...find your maintanence spot is hard but doable.

Good going!

I'm holding steady at 116.   I'm pleased but I'm going to try and get back down to my 112-115 range.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!
