Blood Pressure NSV

Yesterday I went to one of those Minute Clinics to get treatment for an ear infection.  When the nurse took my blood pressure, it was 110/60.  Not bad for someone who was 140/80 at my last annual physical.

Good for you.  After years of being on BP meds, I was finally taken on the last one in Sept.  I check my BP everytime I see one of those machines to be sure it is staying ok and it has been in the 120/68 range.  Hurray for losing weight and getting rid if meds.

Wonderful NSV.  Reward yourself with a smile all day.

Yeah!!!!  I was shocked when I was taken off my blood pressure med when I passed out 10 days after surgery.  I really did not think I would get off of this as I was diagnosed at age 27 when I had lost 15 pounds!  I am so grateful every time I have a normal reading.  Improvement in health is such a wonderful thing.  I went to see a PT last week who I had seen a few years ago; she was THRILLED to see me and to see the changes in my health and body.  This is a gift and one I try to focus on, especially when the scale does not always reflect the historic changes that are occurring.
