Im guilty of the daily thing too. My issue is when Mother decides to visit I ALWAYS tack on an additional 5 pounds for a week then it goes right back down.

I check it almost every day. (I used to check every day but lately I've been thrown off my daily schedule so sometimes I forget.)

In a study they found that people who had WLS who checked their weight every day rarely had issues with regain compared to those  who didn't.

There is nothing wrong with checking it every day if that makes you happy. If it drives you crazy, then it's too much and checking more than once a day is too much too just because our weight fluctuates over the course of a day so knowing what it is in the evening compared to the morning is kind of worthless information.

I used to be down right crazy about checking my weight..for the first three months i didn't check my weight at all because I knew me and I knew once I started I would get obsesed. When I did start checking I would weight myself 4 times a day easily..sometimes stripping down in the middle of the day just to check..yep I told you I was nuts. Now I have gone down to twice and recently just once because its really only the morning weight I ever care about anyway. I think the further out we are the less we check..

My Kaiser program says to weigh daily for life so I do.  I keep an excel spreadsheet of weight, bloodwork etc so that I always know my progress.

I also weigh once a week at WW.  I even weighed in at WW while on vacation in Spain last summer.  It really helped to keep my eating in order because I wanted to hit my Lifetime goal in Sevilla Spain.  I went to the pharmacy (they all have scales) in each city is Spain.  I'd take off my shoes and Zach would drop the coin into the scale for me.  We made a game out of it.

I check once a week now but if I see a gain, I'm sure I will go back to once a day :)

I check every day to keep myself accountable.

I also have an expensive but worth it WiFi scale that communicates with my computer and my laptop, and keeps a graph of my weight, my average, and a line for my goal weight. It also measures BMI and fat and lean mass.

I don't want to regain sooooo bad!

Every morning. It's always been part of my morning ritual as long as I can remember.
