Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!
 
Another Wednesday...the last one of October.  Grandkids are so excited for Halloween but I'm dreading all of the candy in the house.  DH is going on a hunting trip to Iowa so that's going to leave me with time on my hands which isn't always a good thing.

How are you going to handle all the extra candy in the house?

We are supposed to get our first snow tonight (only an inch thank goodness!)!  It's going to be a LONG winter friends.....brrrrr!!!!

LOL....I just noticed that when I copied and pasted for today!!  I really believed it was Wed. when I wrote it!!   That's what having Monday off has done to me...haha.

Snow...yuk!!   I left my van out last night and had ice on my windows.  I totally paniced because I wasn't prepared and I had to pick the DGChildredn up for the bus.  I am so spoiled....DH is away and he always takes care of me.

Oh no, snow already? I was grateful for another beautiful day here in WNC. Probably in the upper 60s but we are suppose to get rain tonight and the temp is dropping for the weekend.

Had a nice drive with Poppy today and am starting to get caught up on my paperwork.

I'm late posting today, haven't been feeling too good.  I tried that darn wheat toast again for breakfast (1/4 slice) w/peanut butter and it knocked me for a loop almost all day.  Difficult to even drink a protein shake - it just gags me to think about it. I've only had 2 so far today.  Crackers don't bother me but apparently toast does.  When am I going to learn my lesson? UGH.

You'll figure it out but sometimes we never learn!   I know sweets make me shakey but even that doesn't stop me from taking a bite.

I eat a lot of saltines but I limit myself to 5 because they go down so easy that I could probably eat 10.

I don't think I'm buying any candy this year.  We hardly ever have any kids come to our house.  I would probably end up eating most of it!!
