I can now lie on my back and breath fairly comfortably.   The only way I could lie on my back before was with my cpap machine.  Any other time I had to pick a side to lie and chill, otherwise it was like an elephant sitting on my chest.

I didn't even realize it at first.  I was just lying there looking at the ceiling thinking about stuff when I realized I was quite comfortable and didn't have to get on my side to breath.  REally, really a good feeling.  Forgot how comfortable it could be. Very happy about that.

Great NSV - Congratulations.

Do you still use your CPAP?  I got to get rid of mine after about  8 or 9 months.

Yeah still using it.  I'm only six weeks out and about 20lbs down but I'm looking forward to when I do get rid of it.

You remind me a lot of a friend of mine.  She is from Sicily and I notice your profile name.  You must be distant cousins!

Great WOW....

Sorry you still have the cpap but not everyone can get rid of their's after surgery as being overweight is only one part of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. But when you get to goal, ask for a new sleep study...cause even if you don't get rid of it, the settings may change.
