WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!
Another Wednesday...the last one of October. Grandkids are so excited for Halloween but I'm dreading all of the candy in the house. DH is going on a hunting trip to Iowa so that's going to leave me with time on my hands which isn't always a good thing.
How are you going to handle all the extra candy in the house?

Yesterday I had a pre-skin cancer burned off my nose. So I already look like I have a witch costume on and ready for Halloween UGH! As I said in an earlier post, my DH ate ALL of the candy that I bought for trick or treating. So I bought some Glow in the Dark bracelets to handout (I'd like to see him try and eat those LOL). I know kids will be disappointed but my DH can't afford the extra calories from any more candy HA!

I am going to let DD put aside the Halloween candy she likes and put in a cabinet up high (out of sight), let DH take his favorites and do the same, and give DH the rest to bring into work. Oh, and my karate school gave me halloween gift cards for 2 free weeks of karate to hand out for Halloween as well as the goodie bags I made...but not sure if we get trick or treaters at new house or not.
I was so upset at myself last night, I sweat my tush off of kickboxing, came home had a wonderful chocolate protein shake AND THEN ate two handfuls of reeses pieces and gave myself such a stomach ache....wth was I thinking?!
