OT Husband got his date!
Well my husband finally got his surgery date to complete the second portion of the DS he has been waiting for..for nearly 2 years! He has lost like 178 pounds but wants to loose another 150..It is going to be November 8th..I am more nervous than he is and I don't know why..I just didn't want to have to see him go through it all..all over again. He started his preop diet today and I realized today how much crap we have in our house that we really don't need..tonight for dinner I had a protein hot chocolate..and I loved it. This is really going to help me get my carbs under control again. The surgeon said his common channel will likely be 100cm and that they never do 75cm which im kind of suprirsed about..might be as high as 150 depending on the tension. I hope this will be enough to help him loose the rest he wants to loose. Will need some lizards swinging when the day comes but just wanted needed to vent out some stress.
At least you both know the drill now and that it all works. 178 is great but we will swing that he can get the rest off. Here's to good health for both of you.

Congratulations to your DH!! 100cm common channel is pretty standard. It will be fine but he will need to supplement according to Vitalady's DS and ERNY plan. Most surgeons and their NUTS don't have DSrs supplement enough but there are a few NUTS getting on board with Vitalady. Mine is and she checks labs with us and helps us tweak the supplements according to our labs. Let me know if he wants to go with Vitalady's vitamin plan and I'll help him as I'm Liz, Charles and Gail will too. Link: www.gblcreations.com/Resources/Gina/ProgramDRNY_ERNY_BPDDS3- 2010.pdf

Aspan,
Good news. 2 years is a long time to wait. I think it's wonderful that you both are on this journey together. I'm in hopes that after my DH sees my success he will want to jump in and join me. Best of luck to you and your DH!
