 OK
So this morning I got on the scale for the first time since last wednesday...
Four and a Half pounds GONE....
 Yay...I am now 140 1/2....
I REALLY needed to take that off..
Many said I looked fine....but I knew I felt heavier and not lean like I like
to feel...and I felt out of control with the food and hungry all the time and
KNEW that I was headed into the wrong direction...
This has helped me get back in control...I have gone back to my post
surgery diet and have cleaned up my diet and gotten over the carb cravings.
The way I know this is when I wake up in the morning I am not hungry or hung
over from the night before...carb hangover...even slight affects my appetite the
next day..So now I will continue to eat clean and see where it leads me.
It was ABSOLUTELY the thing for me to do and dare I say I recommend it for all of
us who are feeling out of control this time of year...and before the holidays...
YEs...you can do it if you have the lap band it's just a diet...
Thanks for the support...It really helped me... I rarely ask for it but when I did you
guys provided it in bunches...
 Love my LIghtweight board..

One of the things I loved about this post (as well as the recent ones from you) is that IT IS OKAY to ask for support and to vent when you need to.  I also sometimes am reluctant to say HELP and it is a good reminder to use the board and you will receive nonjudgemental help and love.

Glad the pouch test worked for you....and that you feel so much better.

It's true about aksing for support... I NEVER ask for support especially about food issues...
ALL the years of trying to lose weight I never asked for support or picked up the phone
to get support....OA...WW...whatever...but somehow this board feels like home and it's the wonderful people on it and also the fact that we share such a special journey together which so few understand and support....so thanks for your feedback and ask for support here if you need it...it was hard for me to do so and also hard to admit that I was eating poorly and getting back into bad habits...I was ashamed and felt like a failure and didn't want to let you guys know ....but look at the difference! Lesson learned...SEAVIEW

 Congratulations!!!!

You are amazing, a role model. I know what you mean about asking for help and feeling safe here. I love that this board has members who are not snarky and trying to attack others. We support each other. Yeah!

Woo hoo.  Hurray.

This is a great board and it is nice to give and recieve when needed.  That giving that everyone has done is what has made it possible for me to be here.  And I am comfortable giving advice myself, knowing I am not going to get slammed from anyone about my thoughts and feelings.

Thanks for your support
Yes I am at 140 now and it' a difficult number to hold onto for me...
 But it's my fighting weight..
At least I realize that it's the food that makes the weight go up..
 no****er retention...or whatever...it's calories in ...calories out...
So I am sobered and focusing more on what I put in my mouth ...
calories...protein and low carbs...
It's a good place to be going into the holiday season...
