I know, I know, I should not compare but . . .
I too envy you only 40 pounds to lose- I had over 100. I'm grateful I didn't have more than that!

I had a hundred to lose the first time. It came off pretty quickly, but I am not getting my hopes up about the revision. Luckily I kept off most of what I had lost with the band and with the revision I am shooting for 145. My lowest with the band was about 155. There is such a huge difference in the two surgeries.
Have a great week!
So I lost a lot more than you plan to but I bet your weight loss is in the 6-8 pound ballpark too. You may even surprise yourself and lose a lot the first month because it's really hard to eat a lot the first 1-2 months with surgeries that cut your stomach.

Hi, I had my second revision in May this year and this time around I was weighing 171lbs on surgery day. I've lost a little bit and now sitting on 147lbs and can't seem to get any lower than this now. I'm very short so I still look quite dumpy but I figure it's ok and better than the 231 lbs I was when I started out over 11 years ago now.
Try not to be too hard on yourself.
Cheers from Karin (in Oz)
