I had a pelvic repair (do not know medical term) nine days ago. Had a hysterectomy Nov 2010 and was left with bad leak problem. With new surgery my bladder was put back in place with a lot of other repairs. After surgery someone (nurse, assisting doctor, whoever--I was still a bit foggy) told me that my surgeon had done something to repair/help my gastric bypass. I had signed for him to do other surgery he saw that needed doing
My wls was done lap. This surgery was done open through my old TT scar. He had promised to repair that scar and it looks good. Anybody heard of a Gastric Surgery Repair (?) done like this? Anybody have any idea what was done? I see surgeon on Monday and will ask, but wondering if anyone else knows what this is all about.

It could have been many things. It doesn't look like you have had a problem with regain but he could have made your pouch smaller or made your stoma smaller if it had gotten too large, or he could have done something with the intestines. You will have to ask him to be sure. Do you notice any differences such as feeling fuller?
I hope you continue to get better.

I hope he just was in there looking for adhesions or small hernias and was able to fix anything that might cause you problems in the future. Swinging lizards and hope you're feeling better than new soon.
