Saw the same girl in the mirror..till now!!

Thank you...your moment will come... I can not explain that moment....my world just came together.  Almost like the weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

Bravo Surgery Sister!!  How cool that you finally "saw" yourself!  I think we're actually 20 months out.  :)

I was at pilates last night where there are mirrors everywhere.  I was with a WLS pal and dragged her over to the mirrors afterwards and said "look at us!!!"   I too am finally beginning to see the difference in my body and to allow myself to feel great about it!

I wish I could say I'm a size 4 but I'm not.  I'm wearing loose petite 10's and some 8's are starting to fit.  I carry a lot of weight in my hips and legs.  I'm very small in my torso but still need bigger sizes to accomodate my arms, but that's getting fixed in December.

Hi Surgery sister!!!  Not only do we share surgery dates but our stats are so close too!  I am excited about your plastics can wait to hear how you make out.  I am considering it in my future too. 

I start a new job on Monday and was shocked last week when I put on the 4s and they fit. I need clothes that fit for the new job..so I have an excuse to shop!   But I now own a tons of belts and hang on to stuff as long as I can to keep clothing expenses down. 

You have done a fantastic job as well.  I love your new photo!  I should update mine, it is a year old!
