I'm amazed at how many boards there are on OH and that there are chat rooms associated with each one. (or some of them.) A few months ago I tried out my first chat room ever (I'm a long-time message boarder) here on the main chat. Eh. Too clique-ish and the focus was very inner circle and a bit abrupt. I forgot all about it but noticed the chat link on the bar above. Do you use it?

Anyway, I wish I had spent more time here when I was a recent post-op. I could have saved myself a lot of aggravation. Thanks for letting me play.

Some of us were having trouble with OH's chat rooms so we started a LW group on Facebook that's closed or private so our posts are hidden from everyone else. Anyway, if you're interested in joining us on the facebook group let me know and we can get hooked up on Facebook and bring you in to the group. That goes for any lightweights reading this post. How do we PM you? I"d like to join the FB group. BTW Gina, are you anywhere near me? I live in Gainesville VA. Do you go to any support groups in the area? I haven't been to my doctor's one yet because stuff keeps coming up the night it's on. Think I should manage to get there in November and see what it's about.

I'm real close in Centreville. lol Jody has actually come to my support group and we've had another Dr Mo patient at ours as well. I'd love to have you join us there if you'd like. We meet at the Merrifield Swee****er Tavern in Falls Church and go to support group at the Fairfax hospital after that. Also, I'm hoping to host our local DS group at my house in December, so you're most definitely invited to that. I'll send you my FB profile link and we can get you on the LW group on FB.

it is huge. i mainly stick around here and the RNY board. both of those are pretty safe with nice folks (here of course is "home").
