Good Day LW's

Following my knee surgery a couple weeks ago, I have been very down and depressed which is not normal for me!!  I was 155lbs at surgery and now I am up yet again...only by a few lbs but the scale is going in the wrong direction!!  I am feeling discouraged and down these days.... I see surgeon next week and I am anxious to get back to exercising and feeling better about myself once again.  Thanks for letting me vent....hugs to all!!!

Sounds like the recovery from surgery and no exercising is getting to you? Do you have anything else going on?

I hate to admit it, but exercising helps my mood tremendously. I really feel it the days I don't run.

I hope it's not too long before you can get back out there!

((((hugs!))))

Sometimes it take some time to get the fluids and meds out of your system after surgery. I think you'll be back on your downward trend soon. I'm sorry you're down though :(

Back at you with hugs!! Hope you can get back to your regular exercise program soon. Keep doing everything else you've done to get that wonderful weight loss because you still have the DS that will continue to work for you. Best Wishes!!

I hate that you are going though this and feeling down.  But I bet when you can get moving again, you will feel better.

What is your recovery suppose to be?  Rest, then walking??  PT or other exercises?  I know I am not looking forward to my knee replacement with the being home and stuck inside again.  I am getting as much fun in as possible before and have lots of paperwork to keep me busy afterward.

(((((Gypsy)))))), I am sorry you are feeling down. Like the others, I suspect once you can exercise again, you will feel better.

IF for some reason, the depression doesn't lift, check with your doctor...it could be SAD (Seasonal affective disorder) could have reared it's head. Dh suffers from a mild form so he gets treated.
