Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!
 
Paying my Surgeon's office a visit today.  Tomorrow is my 3 year surgiversary and I haven't been there for awhile.  Seems kindof foolish to go when I'm feeling great and not having any problems but I feel like I should keep in contact with them just in case.  Then Shopping!!!!!

Hi Roz,
Good luck at your surgeon's today.  I was wondering the other day if I wanted to keep going every year just to argue about protein drinks, but I guess I do need to stay in touch and let them check my labs out just to make sure everything is going ok and to stay in tou*****ase I need them!!  Let us know how it goes.

My PCP looks over all of my labs so unless I'm having a problem I'm not sure I'll go again.  I had a very young "new" PA who didn't think keeping being 58 and working a full time job, taking care of a DH, DD/family, a sick Mother, and constantly watching 5 grandchildren was any sort of exercise. I know a lot of your people her age and I am pretty sure she would have a hard time keeping up to me on an everyday basis.

Congratultions on your 3 year surgiversary Roz.

The past 2 days I've dropped a 1/2 lb. each day so increasing the protein and a little more food I think made the difference. Thanks to all for the advice and encouragement to get thru that 11 day stall.

Here's what's on my meal plan for today. BTW, the Ricotta Cheese Bake yesterday was tasty.

Protein: Body Fortress Chocolate 26 gr
Breakfast: Cottage Cheese w/ Peaches 1/4 cup
Protein: Body Fortress Chocolate 26 gr
Snack: Fage Greek Yogurt non-fat w/Torani Raspberry Syrup 1/4 cup
Lunch: 1 egg (deviled salad) 1/4 cup

Dinner: Ricotta Cheese Bake 1/4 cup

I'm glad it's working!!  

We love receipes and ideas so feel free to post the ricotta cheese bake.  I tried making a mixture of it a few weeks ago and I'm sure it could have been inproved.

They askd me if I go to any support groups and I told them you guys are my support group!!!    During the last 3 years I think of you guys for advice  before I even think of my family most of the time.
