Wow! What a crazy rollercoaster! Seems like you have some decisions to make. I know what you mean about shaving the hair. I have very little hair, and I am pre-op VSG. I am so worried about loosing more..you can already see through in my bang area, and the top of my head. But I figure, I'd rather be a bald skinny woman that a bald fat woman. lol (and I'm only 31!!) I wish you luck, and swift recovery from your knee surgery.

My hair has always been fine but now it is thin and fine. But I am thin too so that's ok.

Hi Price, I also had about 4 cysts surgically removed from my head. The surgeon was very considerate to only shave just as much as he had to, and with the help of my hairdresser, I was able to work around the shaved spots.

The only thing I wanted to warn you of was that I had a hard time sleeping after having them removed. The cysts were on all sides of my head, and the surgeon used metal staples to close the incisions. No matter which way I shifted, it hurt lying down. Be sure to get some decent pain meds for sleeping.
