No feeding tube for now.  Yay!
I did lose some more weight so that isn't good.
They went over my food diary and feel that I am not getting enough calories.  They finally admitted that I am malabsorbing.  They want me to get in about 2000 calories a day.  I am getting in 1600 on a good day so it's not too far off.  I am going to set the alarm on my phone for every 2 or 3 hours and have a protein shake or snack of at least 100 calories or more and see how that goes.
No pancreatic enzyme because they told me that would help me absorb more fat but I'm not getting a lot of fat because I dump on too much.
They want to see me in 2 weeks and I am really going to work at eating more.  Boy, who would have thought I would ever say that?

Glad you're not getting the tube and I disagree with their reasoning for not giving you the enzymes. You're low carbing...fat won't hurt you and you malabsorb it anyway!

ETA: Could you talk to your PCP about giving you Creon?

They don't have a problem with me eating more fat, I do because I dump on too much.  My fat intake isn't high enough for the enzymes to have an affect, even if I were to absorb all of it.  If I were eating more and not absorbing enough then the enzymes would help me absorb more.  Does that make sense?  I would love to be able to eat more fat because I love it.  I do have smaller amounts throughout the day, just not a whole lot at one time.

Good, good news!!!!  Getting in 2000 calories a day may be challenging but hopefully with an added shake or protein bar here in there you can get the calories in.

Thinking about you!

Glad you don't have to have the tube for now.  Hurray.

Good luck with upping your calories.  I know you can do it if you take it on lke a job, like we did early out to get your fluid and protein in.

It's great that they are allowing a more conservative approach.  I know you're still losing, but last week I noticed you only lost 0.2 lbs, so hopefully that's slowing down.  With all you're working on, you should be able to to slowly work up to 2000 calories - what a challenge for only 2 weeks.

Good luck!

Tazz, read this. Creon works with fat, carbs and protein. Link: www.netdoctor.co.uk/medicines/100000629.html

It was a medical student who told me this so I can see how she wouldn't know.  She also told me that it was for people who had problems with their pancreas.
I have my appointment tomorrow with my new/old PCP and I will bring the article with me and see what she has to say.  She is very smart and I trust her opinion.
