sore pouch

So me, with the cast iron pouch, has had a sore pouch for the past 24 or so hours.  No feeling sick at all, still hungry when I should be, not nausea, just sore.  Kind of like when I had gall bladder attachs only I don't have a gall bladder any more. Sore to the touch mainly.  My eating has been different but not that different from when I am home.  I have been fixing most of my meals in the camper so they have been stuff I normally eat for the most part or when I have been out I have had plain stuff, steak, brocalli, eggs, etc.  I am out of acid reducer but took some tums earlier and that didn't help any.  So I have been pumping fluids to see if flushing it will help.  Any ideas?

Do you happen to have any papaya enxyme with you? Hopefully it is something, are you going potty regularly too. I know sometimes when traveling I tend to get bound up. Swinging that you feel better soon.

thanks for the swinging. I left the papaya enzyme at home but I had thought of that also.  Will go get some tomorrow along with a generic acid reducer.  My script hadn't been approved so I left home without that also.  Elimination hasn't been an issue with my benefiber.

Sorry to hear about your sore pouch.  Hope it gets better soon.  BTW
What kind of steak do you eat?  Is it filet mignon or can you manage other kinds?

I can eat any kind these days.  In the beginning it had to be tender and juicey, mostly tenderloin worked.
thanks for the swings.

I think your problem is too much acid. Is there a store nearby, where you can some acid reducer? Your symptoms do sound like too much acid. I have similars symptoms, when I keep trying to get off my PPI. TUMS do not seem to help for very long.

I'll go to walmart tomorrow and get some.  Hopefully that is it.  I haven't been off them this long before and the tums seem to do nothing.  Doesn't feel like heartburn but it is definately different than my usual.
