Quest protein bars real or hype?

I found these protein bars on the web today, They show 22 grams of Carbs and 18 grams Fiber then say its really only 4 grams of carbs.  So admitting my lack of knowledge here can others take a peek at this and tell me what you think? 

They offer a free bar trial but for some reason I can't find that to just try even though I can't eat it for a couple more weeks LOL

Doesnt look too bad to me as long as the carbs actually come from the nuts as they claim. I may order them myself just to try. I like the fact that the sugars are so low.

I agree, they do look good.  Im just not knowledgeable enough to know if its truly 4 carbs since 18 gram of fiber are there which is also good.

I guess I had always looked at total carbs and took that as the number. Never heard its really only 4 due to the fiber. Isn't a carb a carb?  I know theres good and bad but I think ya know what I mean

This means that you can absorb only 4 of the 22 grams of carbs.  The rest is fiber, which you can't digest, but helps your digestive system.

It took over a year for me to finally get my samples but I think they are good.  I like them warmed up a bit in the microwave.  The cost doesn't scare me.  The bars I currently use are the same cost.  I just hate ordering them online and paying shipping costs.  I would definitely buy them if they were at the store.  I may order some but I'm not in a hurry.  But they do have good stats, good fiber and good protein and they taste pretty good, too.

How far out do you have to be in order to eat protein bars?

i really like the peanut flavor, didn't care too much for the almond one. they are in my protein bar rotation. i think they're good quality.

I just ordered two boxes of the mixed flavors today, I hope I like them.  I set-up autoship for the discount, but if I don't like them I'll cancel it.  I'm having a little trouble getting my protein in because I don't have much of an appetite so I'm thinking they'll help.  I'll give you a review when I get them.  I like the Pure Protein peanut butter, but I'm having a hard time finding the boxes at Walmart, I don't like the other flavors.

I ordered a sample but have never gotten them.  I like the fact that they only have 4 net carbs but I'm not going to order any with the history of not sending the sample.  I hate paying shipping on everything.  I try to avoid protein bars for the most part but do keep them for emergencies and when traveling, etc.

I too ordered a free sample and haven't gotten it yet..that was like 6 months ago..so I refuse to buy them until I get my sample..they sound good..wish I could find them in a store.
