Fall is in the air, oh yeah!     Let's talk about what to wear this Fall. I love color and neat color combinations. I haven't quite got the hang of cool sexy boots but I love sweaters and cords and jackets.., and colors matter now. I like rusty orange and bright reds...contrasting colors and complimentary colors worn together. Yeah, I use a color wheel to dress sometimes. lol

So, this fall get out of all those black on black clothes and add some color splash and pizazz! You will look great, feel great and gain some self confidence. Promise!

Y'all have a great Monday. What's on your list today?

LOL Gina

Here in south Florida the local news actually had a "Weather Alert" about a cold front coming and the tag line was "temperatures drop 5 degrees"
OMG from 92 to 87 degrees?  Grab those winter sweaters!
I miss the seasons!!!!!!!

I'll be wearing sleeveless sweaters in brown and teal.

As for today....calling the surgeon for my 1 yer appt.  Took my labs last week.  Applying with the school board so I can possibly go back to work.  Drinking my protein coffee and NOT eating peanut M & Ms.  Hubby is not allowed to bring them into the house anymore because I have no self-control these days.

Make it a good one.

Well went to turn the heat on and lo and behold, it wouldnt turn on. SO I get to call the heating guys AGAIN and find out what is wrong now, it is a brand new unit just bought it last month.
I have to take a truck to the shop and get it worked on so I can get it out of my hair. Probably have to walk back from the shop though. Lets see, other than that, I am working on getting the pool covered this week for the winter, classes have started back so I am starting those. Not much really. Everyone ahve a wonderful day

I love fall, but it's usually pretty short here. We still have the AC on.

I made a fall clean up list including closing the pool for DH's a fall break.

I love rust and dark green. Would love a pair of boots.

Love autumn!  Just went to my first clambake of the season this saturday night and got to wear my knee high boots - black with my black jeans and a great red pull over sweater with a white turtle neck.  This the perfect weather for my ice queen self, I can wear lots of layers without people looking at me weird!

Need to go shopping again though. Last falls clothes are too big this season.

No big plans today, worked all weekend so its time to catch up on housework and laundry. Need to go get the store too, these teenagers sure can eat!

Happy monday all!

I love fall and winter...and I have never been one to wear just black or dark colors trying to hide. Figured I had a right to wear whatever color I wanted as long as it looked good with my hair and skin tone.

Problem I have with the fall palette is that it is the only one I really do not look good wearing. I have to wear strong, clear colors...a Christmas red or sun yellow. Or a kelly green...the fall colors of burnt orange, mustard yellows and other greens look horrid next to my skin.

And like Maria said...none here to speak of yet. Last year's fall wardrobe has been out of the house at Goodwill for months now. And this spring when they had all the fall and winter on clearance, I had no clue what size I would be by now.

I adore sweaters but the only time I really got to wear them was while living in Michigan as it's still not cold enough 95% of the time here for ME to wear sweaters.

And I adore cords...need to find me a pair or two.

Been shopping online (looking right now) at what is on sale/clearance that I possibly could get. I think a trip south of us to the outlet mall is in order. Dh has no fall/winter stuff either.

Fall arrives so slowly around here that I have trouble dressing appropriately for the first few weeks.  It is a bit of a joke for me...You can tell the tourists from the natives in San Antonio in October.  The natives are breaking out the Fall clothing while the tourists are still in shorts and tank tops.  Our highs are in the low 90's/high 80s with our lows finally dropping below 70.

There was a fire in my office over the weekend so I'm working from home for a while.  Sounds like the damage was on floors 1-10.  We're on 14-15.  I'm told there is smoke damage, but other than that our office is OK.  We had an office fire when I was in the Air Force in 2002.  We were the clean-up crew.  In civilian life, we hire contractors.  Another perk to retirement!

Sorry to hear about the fire...I'm guessing nobody was there..thank goodness.

Yes, native San Antonian here pulling out the long sleeves already, LOL.  It was 54 degrees this morning in my neck of the woods...didn't last long though!

I love fall, colors and clothes.  I have been hiding way stuff since spring when the fall and winter clothes went on sale for nothing and I have a whole waredrobe that I have never put on.  I've picked stuff up at the thrift store when I have seen it.   I think when I unpacked it all I had bought a ton of red but that's ok, I like it and can wear it with anything. I didn't know what size either but just bought PS tops and waited on the bottoms.  I have ended up with navy, black and brown cords but this weekend, realized the navy and black are big, still wearable but big.  I have several pairs of jeans that all fit strangely but I'm sticking with them until I get more settled in size.

Today is crazy busy.  I have to get me and the family ready for me to leave again.  Go to the feed store, grocery, get the propane tank for the trailer filled, wash carriage, harness, pack trailer, clip pony, make fish chowder for the camping crew,  whew.  I'd like to have everything done so I can get out of here pretty early in the morning with only sticking the pony in the trailer.  It's about 6 hours and the earlier I get there, the more time I have to get set up there.

I think the campground has wifi so I can stay in touch.
