Menus and Miles Sunday Oct. 2nd

Good evening everybody! It started off cold here but turned out to be a beautiful day. The leaves are looking so pretty.

Roz, is the Nectar tea tastes really strong of lemon?

Pre-op diet

B- carrots (just did not do it for me)

Poured in the liquids but had an extra Diet Dew than I have been allowing myself lately.

The first thing I did to prepare  for surgery was to stop drinking Diet Pepsi.  I figured if I couldn't handle that then I wasn't ready for WLS.  Carbonated Drinks are painful after surgery and it also takes awhile to get rid of the bad headaches that come from giving them up.

Are you on a certain amount of calories or is your Menu what your NUT ordered?

It depends on how much water and powder you add.  I don't like strong flavors so I use about 8 oz. of water and 1 scoop of protein.  Sometimes I add flavoring like crystal lite or MIO but that seems to make me crave sweets so I haven't done it for awhile.  If you like cherry the Twisted Cherry is good but I figured I can just add cherry to my Lemon Tea so why spend the extra money for another tub.

If you like Chocolate Mint The Syntrax (Matrix) Mint cookie is really good.  Lots of people like the Syntrax Fuzzy Navel too.

You can buy sample packages at vitalady.com for $1.99 each plus shipping.  That's really the best way to go instead of buying whole tubs and then not liking them.

Thank you! It is an ordered diet plan. I am supposed to have two light meals (Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice type dinners of 350 calories or less each), three Sugar Free Carnation Instant Breakfasts and two cups of veggies a day. I can't really complain after seeing people that have liquids only.
