Well LW's I just found a plus for cooler weather coming...LOL My scale**** 115 this morning (that's down 3 lbs)!!! The swelling in my legs is gone and I can see between my toes....YEAH!!!!!! I have always swelled year round but it was very noticeable during the summer. My PCP even sent me for testing to see if I had blood clots in my legs but all was clear.

I have been swamped at work. The good part about that is I do not have much time to look for snacks. So, I have gotten myself decarbed with very little trouble. I have also discovered that I like isopure...who knew...so I am able to do more protein shakes with out adding too many carbs. My restriction is so much better after a couple of weeks of using shakes for breakfest and lunch. The scale is still not my friend but I feel much more energetic and healthy. So, even if the scale does not move, its better than chasing the carb monster.

Menu 7 weeks post op RNY
Bfast- Protein Hot cocoa 45 gr protein
Lunch- Part of a baked chicken thigh
Snack - 2 Tbs red beans w/ a little rice
Dinner- about 1/4 cup mix of shrimp, steamed veggies in a LF garlic butter sauce over whole wheat pasta. Yummy!!!
Snack- not sure, 1/4 cup SF/FF pudding, maybe
Before bed- another Protein hot cocoa 45 gr protein
I only track protein now, and I don't even try to figure out the protein from my small meals, so 90 gr of protein.
The biggest and best thing? I didn't even feel sick, much less get sick today, and It was all eaten with out any anti nausea meds needed!!! YAY!!!!
