Good Morning. Running the heat already
So it got down into the 40's last night and I was cold. I was cold when I went to bed and the house was 62 degrees when I got up, so I turn the furnace on. I'm a wimp! Today, I'm going to find and go through my sweaters, warm pants and long johns, coats and gloves get ready for a long cold winter. {sigh} I just hope we don't have another winter with multiple 3 foot snows--they never plow us out properly.
Get ready for the cold. If you're in your first year post-op or your iron is low or you just run chilly--get ready. Be a squirrel, freeze and store some nuts (family and friend nuts don't count). lol

Since we just moved in and have to get a propane tank for our heat, we don't have it on yet...tank is due to be delivered in a week.
So I'm in layers and the furry children LOVE that.

I've turned the heat on too. I guess the good news is that it'll get warmer tomorrow and Tuesday--at least for a while.
A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I bought new bedroom furniture that includes under-bed storage. It's changed my life. I no longer have to store my seasonal clothes in bins because I have enough drawer space. Love it. love it, love it!!!
I'm realizing as I'm going through my cold-weather clothes that I have a really disjointed wardrobe because I've bought all of these things on clearance on the cheap. I'm still not willing though to spend much dough on new items. I haven't lost much weight lately (I think I'm in a stall), but I still think I can reach goal; so I don't know yet what size I'll settle in at.

I've always been kind of col natured and love to bundle up with blankets, sweaters, etc. But, I always keep my house pretty chilly in the summer.
We're no where near needing to turn the furnace on yet. Have had 2 mornings sround 49. The weather is beautiful and I'm still wearing shorts. I'm kind of envious of y'all.
