Gah,spending the week with my DD and her family. I have struggled and struggled with the boys kid food and have finally fallen completely off the wagon and rolled totally under it with my feet in the air begging for mercy.

I have had heart palpitations every night this week. Also,on Tuesday night one of the family dogs wa**** by a car and killed. She was my second grand dog. We were out in the backyard burying her at 100 pm.

I am not using her death as an *excuse* to go off plan, but somehow,I just haven't had the heart to keep it up right now. I miss her terribly. she didn't get a lot of attention since the boys started coming along and she loved me dearly when I came to visit and slept on my bed every night that I stayed over. I always had time for her and the boys. She was a 10 yr old choc lab named Chava (pronounced Kava)

I will go back home sat and by Sunday,I will crawl out from under the carb wagon and drag myself back on top and start again. Glad I am not an alcoholic, carb addiction is hard enough.

So sorry about the doggy!  I can only imagine how stressful this week has been for you.   It is so hard sometimes to NOT turn to food....Hang in there....

Hugs!!!

I'm so sorry about your grand dog.  Sounds like she was a wonderful member of your family.

For me it is a lot easier to get back on track than it was before.  My DH loves to bring junk into the house.  I've spent this week trying to get my night time snacking in order and only allowing myself to have certain things at night.  It is working pretty good right now.

Good luck.  I agree posting on Menus & Miles helps.

I agree Linda,it is easier to get back on track than it used to be. I have eaten so little protein,i can barely remember what I should be eating. Of course, some of that could be carb fog too, lol.

I will definately be back on menu and miles asap[.
