I had a jalopeno(?) popper and oh boy was it hot!!! Good but HOT. DH had a coke and asked if I wanted a sip of it - I thought I don't even need to find out I can drink that-- so I didn't take any.
Then he had a BBQ sandwich and a bag of chips so I ate a couple of his chips.
You asked me what the turnip roots taste like. They were pretty good. They kind of have a bitter taste to them, but remind me a little of potatoes(maybe because they are white!!).
I'm going to try to make the spinach chips this weekend and get some more turnip roots or rutabagas and try to make baked fries out of one of them.
