Good Morning Lightweights!!   The weekends coming!  The trees are turning such beautiful colors and I'm hoping I can just relax and enjoy them this weekend.

LOL...I thought what is she talking about then I saw I wrote snack instead of dinner.  Since I cut and paste, I wonder how many days that has been like that??  I'll have to go back and edit Fridays.

It was good.  DH really enjoyed it because there are so many people there.  It is held downtown in a park and sometimes you can hardly walk because of the people.  He loves that environment and I hate it, but I did enjoy myself last night.  I have actually left him there and made him catch a ride home because he doesn't want to leave.  They have bands that play on and off. 

I had a jalopeno(?) popper and oh boy was it hot!!!  Good but HOT.  DH had a coke and asked if I wanted a sip of it - I thought I don't even need to find out I can drink that-- so I didn't take any.

Then he had a BBQ sandwich and a bag of chips so I ate a couple of his chips.

You asked me what the turnip roots taste like.  They were pretty good.  They kind of have a bitter taste to them, but remind me a little of potatoes(maybe because they are white!!).

I'm going to try to make the spinach chips this weekend and get some more turnip roots or rutabagas and try to make baked fries out of one of them.

You called dinner supper....that's what we call it here in PA too.  I only write dinner because that's what most others write.  I prefer "What's for supper"  Dinner is lunch around here.

You know, I have learnt so much by reading the Bites and Vites that you guys do. I think it is great that you do it and in a couple of weeks I'll be placing my info on here. It really helps to see the different options and to get ideas. I really appreciate what you all do.
