Need help with protein and water amounts PLEASE
I'll tell you what I do. I am supposed to aim for 50g of protein through supplements. I use Jay Robb and put it in 4 oz of unsweetened almond milk twice a day. ( 1 scoop -one mid morning and another mid-afternoon) That way I can get it down in a few swigs each time. 50g boom- done. I tried Isopure but found it hard to get the 20 oz down and I was still short 10g. The small concentrated jay robb drink leaves me enough time to drink my other fluids.
I drink a cup of tea or plain water or I put mio into my water and can drink it much faster. The fluids in your protein drinks should be counted towards your total.
I think once you get enough protein and fluid in you, you will feel much better. You are about a week behind me, I felt quite rough for the first 5-6 days but feel much better now and my energy isn't bad. I put that down to the fact that I seem to be able to get the protein, fluids and vits in me.
I also just started the mushies. When I was on fluids, I was allowed yogurt. The greek yogurt is about 18g a tub. I ate half in the am and the other half in the pm. I was also allowed jello and pudding (sugar-free) and I ate that too as well as butternut squash soup. I didn't feel deprived and so far (touch wood) things are going well. If you eat soup, that would contribute to you fluid count as well. Eat half a cup per serving so you don't go over the sugar limits.
Hope this helps.
