Good Morning. Carbs and More Dang Carbs

I know there are some good carbs. These are carbs that aren't sugar, usually green (maybe red or orange) and have nice healthy fiber in them. This week, what are you going to do to avoid carbs?

List:
No peppermint Lifesavers this week
Only snack size popcorn
No nuts
No hard cider during the week

I bought some Greek yogurt to have as a snack this week instead of getting to work and eating candy and other sweets!!
When I went to the store I also tried to shop on the outer aisles where more healthier items are suppose to be.

No protein bars of any kind except for emergencies.
No fries.....not even a taste.

No sugar free candy for me (it's become a problem),

No picking at the pasta that I made for the family (not me).

No warm bread that I made for the family to go with the pasta.

Yikes.  I can do this.

I will enjoy the cheese.

I usually do pretty good avoiding bad carbs... but do indulge once in awhile.  Got home last night and what do I see all over the counters?  Junk... tortilla chips (my nemesis), hard candy, cashews/m&m's/raisin mixtures... but my head is in a good place and know I can't indulge in any of it.

I did buy some nuts for my trip back (in the car) last night and they didn't do anything for me (probably because they weren't salty).  I can leave them alone.

I love pistachios and know I gained when I was eating cashews and pistachios a lot.  Had to totally cut them out of my food journal...

This week:
No nuts
No beer (yep, I said that)
No tostillas

I started on the no carb thing last week.  I modified it to a low carb thing. 

I am avoiding the candy dish at work.  It has little pieces of chocolate that add up to too many carbs.

I don't eat pasta, rice, or bread.  I know the minute I have "a little", I end up eating alot.  I limit my potatoes to very little, and after eating my chicken patty, or other protein, I eat brussel sprouts or brocolli, sweet potatoes, etc.  I eat alot of sf popsicles and greek yogurt.
