Gee some great responses... thank you everyone.... and BTW tonight I tried PB syrup on greek yogart.... great but could only handle 2 small Tsps
I also ate less fish for dinner and felt great... think I was eating too much......
less is best!;)
I should have clarified that of the 27 lbs lost... 9 of that was pre surgery.
I think because  not one person has noticed the loss I feel bummed....
Oh well! I see it and I feel it!

What you need to do is find someone who saw you right before surgery that hasn't seen you since!  They WILL notice.......and give you that confidence boost you need!  Make sure it is a friend you feel comfortable with saying "hey, does it look like I've lost weight yet?" I'm sure the oh yeah I really see it in your face comments will happen.....LOL  Just remember the people that see you everyday aren't going to notice as quickly as those who don't......
If you don't have someone to ask.....then go shopping!  The size change will make you feel better.....I'm sure you're still wearing the same clothes you had prior to surgery and they probably fit "fine" for now.....but it's amazing how it feels when you put on that size or 2-3 smaller for the first time!

I was still on protien shakes, and liquids at 5 weeks but I tried to eat purees at 4 weeks and got sick.  Don't ru****  I'm 5 months out and I can eat any veggie out there but it took me at least 4 months to build up to that point.  Believe me I have vomited a few times but every time I ate an extra bite when I was full.

I am 8 monthd out and I have a  sleeve.

I can eat an entire egg, but no more.  Example, if I have a hardboiled egg for lunch, that is it for me.  In one hour I have space for something else.

I do make a protein coffee about once a week, made with isopure vanilla protein powder, cold coffee, and a splash of soy milk all over ice.   I don't like my coffee sweet, so that is my recipe.   Just try a few until you find one that you like.  I you search it you will find lots of recipes.

I don't eat much salad because I save the room for the protein.  I do miss them sometimes.  Lettuce doesn't have a lot of vitamins.  I do try to save room for vitamin dense veggies.
