I usually have 3-4 protein drinks a day for 69 to 92 grams of protein - all are whey isolate protein.

I am a little over 2 years post op.

No bounce back yet - I bounce around within a 3 pound range

I had RNY.

How many protein shakes do you drink a day and how many protein grams from shakes alone do you get? If you don't drink shakes, what most bio-available protein do you eat or drink and how much? Weekdays I make a 64oz. iced protein coffee and drink 1/2 of that throughout the day...60 g. for the 1/2. Rest I eat meat..3oz. chicken breast..or turkey, or ground sirloin, sandwich meat from the deli. I don't buy compressed meat.

How many days, weeks, months, or years post-op are you? 1 year and 1 week out.

How many pounds bounce back weight if you're more than a year out? None yet..still losing.

What surgery did you have? If you revised, list last one. RNY

You should be aiming for a minimum of 50-60g.  One more shake ought to cover it.

I only do one or two shakes a day but I supplement with my whey isolate in my oatmeal, pudding, coffee and everything else I can add it to.  I get in at least 125 grams a day just with protein powder.  I also eat mainly high protein foods like chicken, shrimp, ricotta, cheese (with everything), greek yogurt, beans, eggs and everything else.  I am up to about 200 grams a day. I also have the occasional protein bar, Think Thin which has no gluten or sugar and 20 grams of protein.
I am 14 months out and still waiting on a bounce back.
I revised to a RNY pouch with (supposedly) less malabsorption.

I drink 2 protein SF hot cocoas a day with 1 1/2 scoops of whey isolate protein added for 90 grams of protein a day. (I like the vanilla powder best in this "treat") And it's 99.9% caffeine free!! YAY!!!!

I'm 7 weeks post-op.

I had the RNY
