mini wow moment**

Hubby and I went away for a night this past weekend for our anniversary. 17 years and I still adore him. Times have been tough for us lately. He recently changed to night shift. His mother is on Cancer treatments. Our kids are extremely busy and some how we are just lost in the shuffle. He surprised me last Monday night and asked me what I thought about him booking a room for us and just getting away for the day. We had ballgames that morning but we left here around 3. We got to the beach around 5:30 and checked in our room. We decided to go for a walk on the beach. It was really chilly and overcast. This is going to sound really silly but I looked down and realized how much I had missed my cute feet. Before surgery my feet stayed swollen  puffy, red and crackly. Saturday as I rolled up my size 4 jeans so they wouldn't get wet. I realized just how much I missed my cute petite feet. I keep my toenails painted. Saturday they were hot pink with sparkles. I could see the bones in my feet. I told my hubby to take a picture of my feet but he left his phone. Yall are just going to have to picture it...It felt great to have these cute feet in the sand!~ I loved getting into the hot tub without any inhabitions. We had such a great time. He kept telling me how beautiful he thought I was. I know he is proud of me. He didn't have to say it. It was written all over his face. His eyes were the bluest they get and his smile said it all. YEAH I LOVE MY RNY! 

Now to kill the carb monster that has been lurking it's little head since.  We shared a chocolate chip icecream sandwich and it turned the hunger monster in overdrive. UUG!

Aww...I'm glad y'all got away. Love the cute feet! lol

I don't know how cute mine are but at least I can get to them. 

so glad it was a good get-a-way.  We have one planned for the end of Oct and I hope it is as successful.

I am jealous...of your cute feet! Mine are butt ugly and wide like a boox. I won't even paint my toenails so as not to call attention to my feet. they are that ugly...
