Price, I am right there with you. Girl's size 14 or L fits very well. XL are too big. The last few months, I have been buying some things in Children's size Large. I recently bought some quick dry pants that zip down into capris. Fit Perfectly!! Blew me away. So, I bought another pair. LOL.

I also found a pair of size14 Girl's jeans at Target for 9.99. That was a few months ago and they still fit.

Have fun!! It is mind blowing.
