We are having issues with our home computer, and our 2 laptops go with my two college students to their respective dorms, so I try to catch up on everything during week-ends when they're home...

Anyhoo, I am almost 11 months out and in maintenance. Although my goal is 130#, my doctor encouraged me to let my body land where it may, so I try not to fret too much. My lowest was 122 a month ago, and then I was up for a bit to 124#. I am happy in the 125 pound area, but did get on the scales today and it read 119.6 !!! I am almost 5' 4" and really don't want to get lower.

Never in a hundred years did I ever think I'd be worrying about getting too skinny! I feel great, and I think mostly look healthy, so I'll try to chill-ax. This is such an incredible ride.

I keep trying.  Got protein coming out of my ears.  I'll figure this out sooner or later.

I just sent an email to my NP so she will get it tomorrow.  I'll see what she recommends.

I'm thinking that it's time to see what my NP says.  They may want me to see the NUT first and go over what I am eating.  I'm pretty open at this point.  I never thought I would have this problem so I don't know what to think.  In the past when I have lost weight I didn't really have to make any changes to maintain.  It just seemed like I hit a weight and then stopped losing without having to make any changes.  I thought I had a handle on it because I have maintained successfully at times in my life and I don't remember having any problems with it.  It seemed to happen naturally and I expected that to happen here, too.
I'm thinking that I have more malabsorption then I was told and unfortunately I don't have the eating capacity at this time to eat enough to keep up with it.

I hope the NP has some good advice for you.  I'm sending some group hugs, as I know this has been a real trial for you.

I'm so afraid she's going to suggest carbs to you not understanding there may be potential to eat them more and more and more. Be careful.

I am afraid of the same thing and if I tell her I refuse to because of my problems with them she might suggest I have some kind of eating disorder.
The problem is they refuse to believe I have any malabsorption.  I have a 200 cc common channel.  There are people that get that when they have their surgery so there must be malabsorption there.
I really believe that it will work itself out as I am slowly able to eat more.  I just don't want to jeopardize my health in the meantime.  How low is too low?
