Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!
 

We had so much fun with the kids and grandbabies at the amusement park yesterday! The weather was a perfect fall day!!   I think I did pretty good eating wise..I got in 2 Protein drinks, no cotton candy, caramel apple, or funnel cake!!!  I did have a small cookie, 1/2 Chip steak sandwich and 1/2 a hot sausage sandwich, but it could have been sooooo much worse!!!!!

LOL...you are hysterical! 

I actually just ate a handful of Honey BQ chips...I yelled at my DSIL for bringing them home!  My DD is still on bedrest and I think she will be shocked when she steps on the scale because she is constantly eating junk food.

Took Poppy to the Biltmore Estate for a drive.  It was cool and overcast but nice driving weather.  I am glad I have long johns on order because I am colder than I was before.

Hi Roz!  Glad you had a good time and you're eating wasn't bad either!  Always a victory there.

My eating hasn't been all that great... seems like I'm ALWAYS eating (except for today).  I have done pretty well with my protein drinks, except for today.   I'm still on the road.  They extended me another week out here - and that's a challenge since I only brought enough vitamins for a week. I'm going to need to go get some multi's and take about 4 a day.  My B12 and D are good, so I'm not going to worry about them so much.  I don't have my prevacid or other med I take with me... while neither will kill me if I don't take them, it may get uncomfortable at times.  I can also get some over the counter prevacids too I suppose.. that will be better than nothing.  I will be hitting GNC and picking up another set of "pods" I put my vitamins in so I'll have enough for 2 weeks at a time.

Brunch - a Bob Evans roast beef hash bowl, didn't eat the taters (eggs, cheese and roast beef)
D - 1 spare rib

Water:  way low...

Hi Roz & everyone!

Another work day today. A patient's family brought some fresh, glazed donuts (from the best bakery in Indianapolis) for us and I did not have one. I don't really crave sweets like before, but sometimes I just want something other than "protein". lol

Here's the menu:

B: Special K protein cereal with 1/2 banana
L: Au Bon Pain - chicken vegetable stew (was very good!)
D: BBQ pork with broccoli & cheese
S: skim milk
S: isopure green tea
S: about 1/2 apple if that much with peanut butter - tastes like Snickers bar!

Totals: calories: 765; carbs: 75 protein: 73

I am trying to work another snack in here somewhere or at least another protein drink
