Menus and Miles Saturday Sept. 17th
Spent the day volunteering at a horse show and eating, oh my. Stuff I never have at home and I was very happy it all came packaged. Chips and a cookie all the same day, with a sandwich. Wow. I only at one piece of the bread but did eat the rest. Well, not the banana. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Hi Roz & Everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I have been working this weekend, so have been pretty busy.

Anyway, here's my day.

L: 1/2 cheeseburger
D: turkey sausage and sauerkraut
S: Isopure protein
S: Carb smart ice cream bar
Totals: Calories 700; Protein 78; Carbs (total) 34
Thanks for all the great support,
Lynn

I thought about joining WW's early out but I was just too chicken and I thought I'd feel uncomfortable but I think it would have helped me on maintenance to have that support. Did you tell them that you had surgery? If you did..what was their reaction?
Menu looks great!

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

It's too late for me now, but when I was a newbie and losing I wish I would have joined and became a lifetimer. I probably would have just gotten weighed and not stayed for the meetings.

Thanks for the advice. Like I said before, I have paid so much money over the years I really want to be lifetime. I feel I've at least kinda earned it that way! lol
My NUT has always said that WW is a good program and it would be OK if I wanted to join them, but not to get into the mindset that I could eat whatever and use points for it. I need to stick with protein first, etc and basically the doctor's "rules" first, then can incorporate WW.
I figure since I am trying to follow their rules (the points plus is a good program that emphasizes lean protein) that even tho I have an advantage with my sleeve, I am still working hard and learning all the time. I will probably say something to the leader one I find a group, and get my "rewards" in private. I had them use my previous start, not my current weight as I want credit for most of the weight I've taken off. So this week's weigh-in should be pretty funny!
Thanks again for all the support and advice!
