Update! Angel Report on smscuba So Far

I've been texting with Tony (smscuba) and his wife today. Tony went in to surgery around 1:30 or so and we're thinking 5 - 6 hours for a laporascopic DS. Tony was flirting with the nurses having a good old time while waiting for the surgeon who was running late.

Y'all continue to swing LW lizards for Tony. As soon as I hear from his wife, I'll let you know.

UPDATE:
Tony is out of surgery and doing well but Tony was bleeding too much to finish the entire switch in one surgery. He'll have to go back in a few months for the intestinal part. Y'all be ready to help him with a sleeve, even if it's short term, because he was totally prepared for the DS. Slide on down and make some room on the losers' bench, babeees!

Everything was fine immediately post-op. I'll text with them today and make sure. Sounded scary when she said he was bleeding so much they had to stop. He's going to be upset he didn't get the DS in one surgery. So we'll need to help him through that.

Thanks for the update.  I'll keep swinging for him.  I know his heart was set on DS but sleeve is a great start.
