"Create your day"
I need to confess... Instead of drinking my shakeology I ended up doing something really stupid (but dumped and PAID for it!) I had a few graham crackers with nutella, then a few handfulls of mixed nuts... the sugar combined with the amount of fat must have been too much, I ended up going to bed early b/c I felt AWFUL! Live and learn...going to do better today.

"Create your day"

I'm was thinking that the problem was with my computer at home but then today at work it wouldn't let me edit it either.
I've been thinking about you! The best thing to do for yourself is just be honest! I've found that since I admited that I've gained a few pounds that the guilt isn't there anymore. Guilt can make you eat even more. We all slip up now and then.
When I decided to decarb I had to quit all carbs cold turkey! The first thing I did was decarb my house which is really hard with a 3 yr. old living there. If I want a carb like pretzels I can only buy the 100 calorie bags because I can't control myself with a whole bag. The other day my SIL's birthday cake was in the kitchen and the next time he came looking for it he couldn't find it because I put it in the pantry. If I can't see it I don't crave it.
Your menu sounds great!!! You can do this!!! Don't think of it as a diet because diets usually end after you reach the weight or event you are using for inspiration. This has to be a lifestyle change forever and forever.

Thanks Roz.
I'm nearly 3 years out now. Can't believe it. I soooo loved and still do my decision and results from my WLS. The WLS was "in charge" and all I had to do was abide to its rules and listen. It doesn't speak as loud as it used to. Funny....we'd go out to eat and I'd applaud, literally applaud because I couldn't eat a fraction of what I would/could eat before the WLS. So now, instead of pushing the envelope and abusing my tool, if I would just listen again, and abide by those rules, keep to the types of food that got me to my goal I think that I can get back. It's only day 2 but so far so good. Yes, WLS is a way of life, not a diet.
You are right about removing the bad carbs. That has to be really hard with the little one, but I guess truth be told the little one shouldn't be eating the bad carbs either. But listen to this. We went to a new mega store in our area called Wegman's. Of course the bakery is over the top. I bought two beautiful loaves of gourmet bread
first of all what was I thinking, two!!?? Then of course now there they sit. I'm thinking the one that is still whole I should freeze. Maybe freeze both of them. But I just thought I'd share, see where I was at with my eating?
Have a great day Roz and everyone.
