This is a wonderful board and you will like it here. I learn so much from everyone and enjoy the support. This is an exciting time for you and a little scary. I wish you the best with your surgery and please post if you have any questions. We have ALL struggled with our weight and surgery can be such a blessing.

I'm pretty new here too, and my surgery won't be until the end of the year. Like you, I have to travel for my surgery, I have to go 2.5 hrs to Seattle/Bellevue. I am anxious to hear how your trip home will be, since that will be similar to me!
