Think I should introduce myself.
Thanks Anne! I am on day two of my clear liquids and I feel awful. Yesterday was ok, but I have a headache today. Big Bertha (my stomach) doesn't like it when I get in the way of her and food.
I gave up caffeine weeks ago and am getting plenty of fluids, but I guess this is normal to feel a bit rough on the second day. Right now, it's hard to believe I can survive on fluids for the next couple of weeks, but I guess it will pass. Surgery is at 11:30am tomorrow (east coast) so I'll be too out of it tomorrow to feel anything, I guess.

My pouch's name is Arny.
Big Bertha will behave herself better after surgery. Down, girl!
I will be thinking of you tomorrow! May your recovery be uneventful.

Hi there, neighbor!
Which hospital will you be in? My surgery was done at Fairfax Hospital but I'm close to Fair Oaks.
Jody, shes a WLS veteran here, is a Dr Mo patient. She's coming down here soon. Maybe once you're recovered we can have some lightweight get togethers with some of the folks near NOVA.
Wishing you a textbook surgery and an easy recovery. Good luck!
