Think I should introduce myself.
I followed someone over here. Glad I did. What a great idea having a lightweight board!
My RNY is on wednesday. I want to lose 100lbs. I'm 210 right now and short (4' 11") I have a bunch of co-morbidities and I can't wait to be rid of most if not all of them. If you had asked me 7 months ago about WLS, I would have been horrified at the thought. I didn't know much and what I did know was the scare stories on the dangers.
I came to my senses around April/May and here I am. Still can't quite believe I'm going to do this, but living the way I do is no joke. I am sick of feeling sick!
I've perused a few posts and you all look like a nice bunch. So I think I'll stick around.

I was lucky. Everyone held their scare stories until after my surgery. I have had great support here and at home. I am so happy to have my life back.
good luck on Wed. Have a text book surgery and a boring recovery. And we are here to help.
