Hi Marti

Welcome to the LW forum

I didn't have a revision, but I did have an RNY about a month ago.  I had issues with GERD etc, that even Prilosec at the highest prescription dose couldn't handle.  It's better now, but I'm still on high doses of medication.  I'm hoping that after 6 months, I can taper down to a normal dose, or none at all.  My stomach is sensitive to anything acid, and also I need to be very careful about Actigall, and have it in the middle of a meal.  I don't take NSAIDS.

I don't think I've lost pounds as fast as some others, but percentage wise, I'm on track.

Hi Marti, welcome.  I am a revision, also.  I had a more malabsorptive surgery and I had a revision because I was having complications from the malabsorption so my malabsorption was reduced.  Ironically I lost faster with this surgery then the first one.  The big difference is that I addressed my addiction to refined carbs and gave them up completely.  The weight really has fallen off.  In fact I am trying to regain a few pounds.  I hit my first goal at 6 1/2 months, my final goal at 10 1/2 months and I about 18lbs under that at nearly 14 months out.
Good luck to you.
